History study terms Bridge civilization or cultural bridge: Ideas adapted and transformed between different cultures. Different ideas and themes showed up in different civilizations over time, developing them further. Minoan Crete: 2700-1400 BC known from Minos and minotaur. Cultural bridge from old civs to Greeks. Known for pottery. Brought the bronze age in right before Greek culture spread it. Linear B: found on Minoan tablets, shared culture with Minoans, other bridge civilizations. Early form of greek, very phoentic Thera: SKIP Mycenaens: 1600-1100 BCE, located on Greek peninsulas, built on acropolis, sword slashing style, Linear B, right before Greek dark ages Homer: wrote Odyssey and Illiad, described culture of that time (emphasis on cunning). His writing used to teach to Greek students later. Trojan War: fought near turkey 1250 BCE, Greek alliance, documented by Homer, through Homer’s writing featured major historical characters Hellenic Greece: 500-300 BCE culture spread to Egypt and deep into Asia, unity culture,
