Unformatted text preview: Mike Mesrobian, Kelsey Fish, Andrew Haney, Xuetong Zhou Project Details Statement Group 3 Section P MIS235 4/29/2010 Through the final project, our group applied our knowledge of information management gained throughout the semester to address a real world problem and compile an effective solution. Utilizing bits and pieces of different aspects of the class including: using SQL to mine data, organizing a more efficient supply chain, and creating initiatives to increase supplier power as part of the 5 Forces Model. The aforementioned knowledge employed, along with other unmentioned aspects of the class, was all bridged together by the final project. Taking separate chapters and forcing us to combine them together and apply their lessons made the project an effective culmination of the semester. In the future, when encountering large-scale issues such as reorganizing selling tactics, we will have invaluable experience with problem solving....
