Ravidas A family with an honest worshiper of God Has no great status or small status concept, wealth or poverty. Society in an instant knows by smell. Pastors or salesmen, workers or soldiers, the odd, the unfortunate, and those who work with the dead— all are similar at heart. Only he with the love of God can forever become pure when he caste away himself and his own blood the same. Gratitude towards his town, gratitude towards his house, gratitude toward that untainted family, one and all, He stagers silly intoxicated with the drink of life and light casting away all the harmful liquid poisons. No match of an equal cleansed soul and loyalty— nor saints, nor police, nor sun covered presidents. When the lotus leaf suspends upon the water’s surface, Ravidas says, then he blooms beyond the earth he was born to.
