Calculate the wavelength, in nanometers, associated with a proton traveling at a speed of 1.96 x 10 5 ms -1 . Use 1.67 x 10 -27 kg as the proton mass. DeBroglie theorem: λ= h/mv λ= (6.626 x 10 -34 Js)/((1.67 x 10 -27 kg) x (1.96 x 10 5 ms -1 )) = 2.02 x 10 -12 m This answer is different than the Solutions Manual.
