In school, teachers have emphasized and taught that Abraham Lincoln was a virtuous person, andhe has been awarding such praises at different levels. Despite making a clear drive that his main motive from the civil war was ensuring he made slaves free forever' through his speeches, there is enough evidence that his main motive was to preserve the Union he was elected. Lincoln's life has always been related to being insufficient, and his ways of life were a manipulative element that led to his election.
