Abstract The benefits of fiber are beyond helping someone go to the bathroom easier, as many may believe, fiber also helps to prevent different disease, and helps to promotes a much healthier and better quality of life. There are several different types of fibers, and many foods that we eat every day that contain fiber. Everyone should consume a specific amount of fiber daily, and it is recommended that children and adults both pay close attention to their fiber intake. It is an important part of our diet, and should gain attention from all ages.
