Honors Colloquium School of Arts & Sciences Honors Program Fall 2008 01:090:111:13 Lectures and Film Screening WED 12:00- 01:20P -Beck Hall Auditorium, Livingston Campus Discussions T 06:10-07:30P Brett Hall Seminar Room, College Ave Campus Instructor: Jeris Cassel Email: [email protected] The Honors Colloquium is a one-credit course designed to stimulate intellectual discourse and provide students with an interdisciplinary approach to learning. This approach will enhance the academic experience in the classroom and encourage the exchange of ideas. Through a series of performances, lectures, visits to art exhibitions, poetry readings, film screenings, discussions, and participation in Rutgers events, students will explore topics of social, scientific and philosophical significance. The theme for this semester will be “Human Rights”. The course will be graded Pass/No Credit. Information about class meetings, additional readings, etc. will be available on Sakai www.sakai.rutgers.edu .
