Benefits : Performance Analysis Energy savings: 1 million kWh CO2 reduction: 3,000 MT Up-front cost: $ 10,000 Annual cost: minimal Payback period: 1.2 years Due to the fact that Clemson currently has no meter system for food purchases, assumptions were made regarding Clemson’s current energy use and economic cost regarding food purchases.
