Unformatted text preview: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 2 December, 2009 Asia Pulp & Paper Begins Global Television Advertising Campaign CNN International Advertorials Highlight APPs Efforts towards Sustainability (Jakarta) - In coordination with CNN International and global sustainability experts, Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) today begins a new effort to share with North American, European and Australian audiences its aspirations for sustainable paper-making. Several fifty second advertorials, which highlight APPs efforts for conservation and biodiversity protection, tree planting, poverty alleviation and climate change mitigation will appear over the next few months. These advertorials are one part of an overall effort to ensure a balanced dialogue about APPs operations, said Aida Greenbury, APPs Director of Sustainability and Stakeholder Outreach.
