What are the three categories he proposes instead? -author, principal, animator Define each of them. -author: someone who has selected the sentiments that are being expressed an the words in which they are encoded -principal: someone whose position is established by the words that are spoken to someone whose benefits have been told, someone who is committed to what the words say -animator: a person who reads or recites a script that he/she did not create What is an example of a situation in which a person might use one or the other of these positions? -songwriter, you write songs that other people will sing
