Is the latest hardware technology always the best that one should be adopting at a company? Why? What are the advantage and disadvantage associated with using the latest hardware technology? The latest hardware might seem like a good bet, but the pros and cons must be weighed. PROS Specifications can be better than previous technology for the same price. New technologies may never get the kind of uptake expected. Before the current success of the iPad there were several (flopped) attempts at tablet-style computers. New technologies may not yet have associated software to get the most use out of them. In some cases, that software may never be built, if the hardware doesn't catch on.
