There are many other ways of teaching boundaries and this paragraph will inform the reader about them. I believe presenting this essay in this format will be more likely to persuade someone if it is step by step. When reading a paper there is more of an impact if you are informed by steps. I put myself in the position of a reader, who is pro-spanking. If I read the first paragraph I would want to know why it is not a good form of spanking. Then I would continue to read, if the material started to persuade me I would want to know what else I could do to discipline my children without spanking them....
