Identification of an Unknown Acid 15 15 Introduction The purpose of this experiment was to use one’s knowledge of acids and bases to determine an unknown acid by using titration analysis. It was significant to understand titration curves so one could analyze the curve to determine their unknown acid. Materials and Methods The procedure was taken out of the lab manual for experiment 15. The first part of the experiment was the preparation for the titration. A buret was conditioned and filled with the 0.1 M NaOH solution
