Dell: Overcoming Roadblocks to Growth Spring 2005:  Dell announces an ambitious new goal -  $80 billion in annual sales by 2009.  (Dell’s 2004  revenues were only $49 billion.) It planned to achieve this goal through broadening its  product line and aggressively marketing its products. In the second quarter of 2005, unfortunately, Dell  significantly missed revenue expectations. What does the future hold? Can Dell still meet its  ambitious goal?
