Ayunisa Hanifa Ayunisa EN 101/A TR What is a Human Being? While in many aspects human beings are similar to animals, they have some abilities that distinct them substantially, namely to think, to trust, and to learn. Animals do not have brain, so they cannot really think, trust, and learn logically just like all human beings can do. People have the special ability which is the ability to think. By thinking that life is short and they can pass away every single time, people begin to think about their future life. If people want to live long, they need to live in healthy ways, such as: no smoking and eating healthy food. By eating healthy food, like fruits and vegetable instead of eating fast food, people can prevent themselves from any diseases, such as gain weight and become obese. This is because fast food not only contains many more calories than traditional food, but also is more likely to undermine normal appetite control systems. Fast food may also speed up people's risk of clogged arteries that can lead to heart attacks. So, by having the ability to think that eating fast food is dangerous, people can avoid themselves from obesity and heart attack. Another example is also smoking. Some people die because of smoking. By having the ability to think, people have two choices two choose: not to smoke and live longer, or smoke and closer to death. Smoking harms nearly every organ of the body, causing many diseases and reducing the health of smokers in general. When people smoke, they are poisoning their body.
