Unformatted text preview: Assignment due Monday Nov. 14th in class I highly encourage you to practice diagramming the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and explaining it to other people in groups until you feel comfortable with the events taking place. You should be able to explain why it is that you typically only see a single band on an agarose gel after successfully running PCR, even though a detailed examination of PCR shows that additional products are made during the reaction. However, I am not making an assignment in conjunction with this concept due to the close dates with #1 and #2 above, as well as the first exam....
