Thesis: Marketing and advertising affect teen purchasing behavior by locating/ creating a desire and satisfying that desire with a product. I. Section 1- Introduction A. Marketing and advertising affect teen purchasing behavior by locating/ creating a desire and satisfying that desire with their product B. Creating a desire or recognizing an issue is the first step of a successful launch of a product. That product must then meet those desires or fix the issue. C. A business must locate an issue or desire and market it to the right audience where it will meet the needs then the consumer needs to know the specific product can fix this issue II. Section 2- First set of evidence A. Apple located a problem and answered it in a fashionable way B. Apple created the iPod which answered the issue of MP3 players with slow transfer times, glitches, low memory and the typical geek image C. If a product is bad it wont sell, but if nobody knows about it, it wont sell. (Erica Wirtz)
