Thesis: Marketing and advertising affects teen purchasing behavior by using the desire they create and making them choose their brand over the competition. I. Section 1- Introduction A. Marketing and advertising affects teen purchasing behavior by using the desire they create and making them choose their brand over the competition. B. Brand image and desire are not always enough to get the teen to follow through and buy a specific product. C. Some businesses get the teen in through sales, promotions or reward cards. Once inside the teen is wowed with the layout of the store (lighting, placement on shelves, theme of room, manikins) or persuaded by people pushing to sell the clothes. D. Without getting teens in to the store and buying products, brand image and desire wont be important. II. Section 2- First set of evidence A.
