What is Marketing? Marketing is the business activity of presenting products or services in such a way as to make them desirable and make people want to buy them (Clay). In other words marketing figures out how to appeal to a specific audience. It is the foundation that advertising builds off of (Arnold). A large-scale business needs marketing more compared to a small local business.
