Evan Brown Wertheimer English AA Bell 4 16 April 2009 My Changing Language As a sophomore I expected junior year to be extremely rough and to have impossibly hard work. All the juniors looked grown up and extremely smart. I was right about the juniors’ but my expectations were wrong. Junior year was not impossible and it only got really rough when I had to make up late work. This year passed by in a flash; it seems like our class was on College Tour just a couple weeks ago. I have taken these past two semesters more seriously than previous years and have learned not just grammar and punctuation, but how to make my papers read smoothly. I have cut down on being redundant and have supported papers with reliable facts and quotes. I understand that I might not do everything perfectly but this year I can say that I put forth a good effort. I have created habits and skills that make me feel more prepared for senior year and college. Like every year I have a better understanding of punctuation and grammar from commas,
