Evan Brown Weight Training Blaize 3 March 2011 Midterm My long term goal for life is: To remain active for many years I have been striving towards this goal by stretching and doing a lot of cardio. My workout for this includes: 1. Five minute stretch 2. Ten minute bike ride 3. Ten minute run 4. Abdominal workout a.i) Plank a.ii) Bicycles a.iii) Crunches a.iv) Ab Chair a.v) Six inches My short term goal for this semester is: To build muscle and become stronger and eventually tone down

I have been striving towards this goal by pushing some muscles to the limit. I have been pushing my biceps, shoulders and pectoral muscles to the limit for better strength and definition. I have been doing this through: Bench press (inclined and non-inclined) Bicep curls, machine Tricep machine, dumbbell lifts Other dumbbell exercises. I do this because I like the idea of staying fit while being bigger than the typical male. Although I may be skinnier than most I am striving towards being buffer. After my workouts I usually get a

Unformatted text preview: lot of protein and carbs with a bit of fat. I havent taken protein supplements but I think I am getting bigger. I have been able to run for longer periods of time without getting as exhausted as I used to. I contribute that to all of the cardio and core training. Therefore I believe my workout is helping me achieve my goals. My workout is not the only way I can achieve my goals. I need to eat healthy and be conscious of my intake. If I want to build muscle I will eat more and get bigger but to stay healthy and active I must eat lean and be aware of what my body needs, like staying hydrated. Although I can stay lean because of my high metabolism, I cant rely on that forever. Therefore it is a good idea for me to start these healthy habits early and continuously meet my physical goals of staying active and building muscle....
