Tom Hohman BUS 101 BB Dr. Barr January 21, 2011 Verizon iPhone Support Verizon Wireless has finally received carrier rights to Apple’s iPhone 4. Previous to this all iPhones were carried through AT&T. Now with a new carrier, customers will have access to the nation’s most reliable network on one of the nation’s most desirable devices. The firm is Apple and its major key stakeholder is Verizon. Verizon now has access to a completely new market base. Wireless consumers across the US are also key stakeholders because they now have even greater competition among the major companies.

Unformatted text preview: Apple and Verizon stockholders may see their shares rise in value as time goes on. There are some worries however that the Verizons network may not be able to handle the iPhones data hungry demand in big cities. Only time will tell if this is a good move for Verizon. AT&T is also a major stakeholder because if this succeeds they will see a cut in profits. Secondary stakeholder that will react positively to this are Apple retailers and authorized Verizon locations as they will both be seeing a brand new customer base in the months to come....
