I am part machine and part student. Technology has so much to offer and I use it every day. I think that the effective use of technology is the key to being a successful student. I was born at the dawn of the internet and I have been using technology to my advantage for as long as I can remember. Today I will talk about my history with technology, how it can help us all be better students, and what this all means for the future. Technology has come a long way in just my lifetime. Way back, almost before I can remember, my dad bought our families first desktop computer. It was top of the line in 1994 and it was the absolute best money could buy. I also remember last summer when I found it buried in the basement and I scraped it out for parts. I was amazed by what I found. My phone here isn’t quite on top of the line by today’s standards but when compared to that old computer this 6 ounce stone has twice the computing power, twice the storage space and almost five times the internet speed. Oh, and it makes phone calls too.
