6-2 Final Project One Submission: Country ProfileIntroductionPurposeThe purpose of this paper is to understand the healthcare system of the country that wasselected which is Denmark. I selected Denmark because of its rich culture and society, and it isconsidered one of the most honest country in the world and it is a country with a high level ofsocial trust in its people and its government, its monarchy, its hospitals and its police. In theDanish community, trust is very important to its business environment, and because of this trust, the Danish people are persuaded to pay some of the world’s highest taxes in order to fund theirwelfare programs (Denmark Is Often Cited as One Of the World's Best Countries To Live in,n.d). The Danish community is practically tax for every sector. The positive that comes out of allthese taxes that are being collected is that the danes get free healthcare, and free education forstudents.Country DetailsThe kingdom of Denmark is a Scandinavian country that is in Jutland Peninsula with thecapital being Copenhagen which considered the largest city (Denmark - Country Profile -Nations Online Project, n.d). Denmark’s population is about is 5.7 million based on the censusfrom 2016, and most of the languages that they speak are Danish and some German which isaccepted as their first language while the English Language is considered the second Language Itis considered one of the countries with the highest standards of living in Europe, and somesectors like the social welfare system, andthe environmental protection of the country hasgreatly changed into a modern nation. The type of political system that is being operated inDenmark is the constitutional monarchy, where the monarch appoints a someone who over sees

The monarch who is the queen (QueenMargrethe II) has all executive and legislative power and she is also seen as the chief of the state, and she has been the queen 14 January 1972 (Denmark - Country Profile - Nations OnlineProject, n.d). There is also the head of the government who is also regarded as the Primeminister, and he presides over the cabinet. When we look at the weather and natural resources inDenmark, the country is considerably windy, and most of their weather report comes from theDanmarks meteorogiske Institut, and their natural resources is gotten from Petroleum, naturalgas, fish, salt, limestone, chalk, stone, gravel and sand. However, their most common agriculturalproducts come from Barley, wheat, potatoes, sugar beets; pork, dairy products; fish (Denmark -Country Profile - Nations Online Project, n.d).
