Record of Research Entry #2 Inquiry Question Is animal testing ethical? Data Base EBSCO, LexisNexis Search Terms Animal Testing MLA Citation Ward, Adrienne. "Consumers at Odds with Animal Testing; Survey finds majority oppose it on beauty aids, but respondents lack information on merits." Advertising Age 26 Feb 1990, Special Report: Pg. S-2. Print. Reflection -I chose this article in opposition to the second article as it provides perspective from the consumer side instead of the producer side. It goes identifies the percentage of population that would be against animal tested products. It also provides statistics in regards to gender support as well as the availability of “animal tested” labels on products. Lastly it discusses advertising techniques by companies including Revlon, (which has been in each article thus far) that aim to convince consumers that only safe testing is being used. The author credits such techniques as being spurred on by Americas new found “green movement”. Source Notes
