Unformatted text preview: SAMPLE BROWN BAG SPEECH #1 Title : “Heading to the future” Specific Purpose: For my audience to see a different side of me other then what they see on the outside and for them to understand what I want to be in the future. INTRODUCTION Attention Getter: The blaring of the horns as it comes down the street with bright red paint all over and charcoal black wheels. The red and blue lights flash as bright as the sun. White coats and black brief cases line the streets. The fresh smells of home bake cookies run up their little noses. With yelling kids running up and down the fence with huge grins on their faces, anticipating what’s to come. As they quickly line up, the teacher asks, “What do you want to be when you grow up”? The crowd goes silent, and the little girl answers “a doctor”. Audience Motivation: Growing up we’ve been put into situations where we’ve said that we wanted to be varies things like a policeman to even a fish in the sea.
