We the people elect representatives to represent the people to run the government. Most believe that the elected officials should only make the decisions because the public people aren’t knowledgeable enough to make the right decisions. On the other hand, others believe that the public should be the ones making the decisions because it affects them. The elected officials should do their job and make the right decisions to help the people and not themselves. And the public should make the decisions to make their lives

To fix the problem, the elected officials should provide the information to the public about the issues and try to persuade the public to go with their beliefs. Then I think the public should be the ones to make the final decisions because they we are the ones that get affected in the decisions. So we should be the ones to decide how things run....
