Compassion - see/heard/know of a story about people abused and you feel for them and anytime you get compassion, you get fatigued (end up being tired) Compassion fatigue Secondary trauma - re-living a trauma that has already happened/resurfacing old bad memories of harm and this is the leading cause of death of women in the world (more than malaria) - Domestic violence impacts more than 50% of women in the world - About 50% of men are abusers - Tell someone (tell it, write it) to get it out
