1. How might you use project management for doing a 20 page paper over Wal-mart? What would you do in each step? In doing a 20-page paper about Wal-mart using the Project Management would require the following steps: The Initiation phase is where the topic is identified. The objective of the paper is also defined for the benefit of those (i.e., stakeholders) that will be reading the paper. The Planning phase will include the outline that details the topic that will be discussed within the paper. During this phase, all the research and reference information is obtained. How the paper will be formulated and designed is discussed. An “ABSTRACT” is written to set the level of expectation and definition. The Execution/Launching phase includes reading and taking notes from all the resources and reference materials. Notes will be defined and outlined to include page numbers and Internet links where important information is found and note any passages that will be used as use as direct quotes. The Monitoring and Controlling phase consists of moving the paper from draft to actual by making any changes and/or adjustments required. The paper is read through several times to substantiate all assertions are referenced by the right sources. Ensure that there are proper

The Closure phase is where the paper is completed and ready for delivery. Make certain all reference information is finalized and captured.
