Quizzes are closed book except when announced. Questions will be true-false, fill-in the blank, and multiple-choice. MAKE-UP EXAMS No make-up exams will be given. A grade of zero will be awarded on any midterm that is missed. A valid medical excuse will be accepted but only if the student e-mails me prior to the exam. CHEATING Anyone caught cheating will be sent to the Academic Dean for discipline. The student will receive a Fail in the course. Cheating includes: Passing answers to students in another class, comparing answers during exams, and talking prior to handing in exams. Cheating also includes copying answers on the tax return problems. ATTENDANCE Attendance will be taken at each class. Showing up late is considered an absence. Leaving early is considered an absence. 1 absence 20 points 2 absences 15 points 3 absences 10 points 4 absences 5 points 5 absences 0 points Homework: The homework problems will be listed on each chapter outline.
