Krystal Wein English Comp II Reading Response 10 I first read “The Lottery” in my Junior year Literature class. I remember reading the end of this story and being in shock. I did not see that coming at all. The really cool thing about this story is every time I read it, it seems like the ending is going to magically change. I love stories

That black dot symbolized the end of their time and the death of him and his family. It’s crazy to think that someone may have actually done this back then. I hope not though....
