Since statistics can provide manger with very precise information on the issues he or she is looking into. Without statistics, people will be likely to base the decisions on their feeling but not knowing about their business. Here is a good example for evidence that statistics are very important to decision making: Zipcar: Influencing Customer Behavior, by Frances X. Frei. Zipcar is a membership-based car sharing company providing automobile reservations to its members, billable by the hour or day. At Zipcar, customers share the use of cars and, as a result, rely on each other for their service experience. Customers are required to keep the car clean and the gas tank full and to return the car on time. Told from the perspective of two customers: Sal Fishman, who has a car and is running late at an interview, and Anita Karr, who has just arrived at her reserved car's empty
