The Moons. v Estimate on moons vary from 60 to 25 ! v 25 that measure at least 6 miles in diameter. v The moons can be divided into two categories: Regular and Irregular . v Many moons named after individuals who initially discovered or who studied them. v Titan is the largest.

Regular VS Irregular. Regular Irregular Largest eight moons and few of the smaller moons. Have a nearly circular orbit. Thought to be formed from gas and duct left from Smaller moons. Large and inclined orbits. Extreme and varied composition. Thought to be captured objects from space.
