Crampton Bio 2011 - Exam I guide Fall 2011 1 Exam I – guide Overview You will be examined on material from the lectures and the relevant chapters in the textbook. I will place EMPHASIS on material covered in my lectures, but there will be some questions to test your reading and understanding of the text book. Many of my questions are designed to check your CONCEPTUAL understanding of the subject matter. There will also be some factual questions. My questions are not like the quiz questions. The quizzes contain very detailed questions and are designed to get you all to read the text book chapters. Below is a detailed guide to what will and what will not be covered in the exam. The exam will last the duration of the 50 minute class. There will be 50 multiple-choice questions. About the same number of questions will be drawn from each lecture. There will therefore only be about 6 questions from each lecture! Therefore, think about what some of the main points are in each chapter.
