Helena Tse Social Problems 110 The interview went well. I learned that she was born in Olympia, Washington and was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her problems regarding wealth and poverty in society today involve the welfare system and how we’re freely giving money away to the poor. I learned that she did a lot of very good volunteer work in the medical field and worked a lot in the drama/film industry. My insights that I learned were basically facts about her life like this. Her film jobs were very demanding and required lots of time and that took her away from

She said she didn’t have any preferences as to whether she favored the poor or the wealthy. She said she had friends on both ends of the spectrum. Something she spoke about was how City College used to be free and how State Universities were cheap. She also spoke about how we kind of worship the wealthy these days especially with Steve Jobs. They are speaking a lot about his life and how much money he made....
