Example 10 Solve the system by graphing. Find three values for  x  and  y  that satisfy each equation. See the following tables of  x  and  y  values:  x y 0 1 2 4 –2 x y 0 2 2 4 –1 In Figure 3, notice that the two graphs are parallel. They will never meet. Therefore, there is no  solution for this system of equations.
