Diversity The cultural, ethnic, gender, age, educational level, racial, and lifestyle differences of  employees The supervisor will need to get people from many different cultures to work together. -Population and Workforce Growth Immigration large share of the nations population and workforce Supervisors must understand rights of employees and employers Recognize the value of diverse workforce and their own need to become more  adaptable to change Supervising diverse groups of employees through nondiscriminatory and progressive
