My father is part of the respected and honored community of emergency response workers that responded to the attacks of September, 11 2001 on the World Trade Center; fortunately my father was lucky enough to be able to walk away from the attack with no physical harm done to him. I was interested and concerned to hear where someone who had lived through that experience first-hand, in a way that no one else could sincerely understand, stood on the issue. There are so many different angles and arguments that can be made for all sides of the issue, and I plan on investigating them all. The final decision of this project will most definitely have an enormous impact on both the Muslim and Non-Muslim communities in both, America and all across the globe and it is because of that inevitable impact that this topic must be both investigated and understood....
