Unformatted text preview: WELCOME TO PEOPLE, PESTS & PLAGUES – PPSC 110 Mark Shelton, Ph.D., Instructor Fly Fishing Instructor Dr. Mark Shelton has been a fsherman since the age oF 5, and fly-fshing since his early teens. He started fly-fshing For bass and bluegills on the rivers and lakes oF the central valley oF CaliFornia. Next came fly-fshing For rainbow and brook trout in S ierra Nevada streams and back country lakes. ¡or the last 35 years, Dr. Shelton has fly-fshed For trout, steelhead, salmon, largemouth and smallmouth bass, spotted and white bass, stripers, bluegill, surFperch, and even carp. In addition to extensive fly-fshing in CaliFornia, Dr. Shelton has traveled to Alaska, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Minnesota, Costa R ica and New Zealand in search oF fsh on the fly. ProFessionally, Dr. Shelton is an entomologist (insect biologist) who has taught at Cal Poly since Introduction to Fly Fishing with instructor Dr. Mark Shelton Fun with Bees!Fun with Bees!...
