Lactational amenorrhea method (breast feeding)  (chance of preg. = > 2%; risk of ovulation rises  beyond 6 mons.) 3 conditions:  amenorrhea; fully breast feeding; been  > 6 mons. since giving birth Harder in U.S. b/c can’t breast feed in public Fertility Awareness Method (rhythm or NFP  methods); involves identifying “safe days” to have sex
