HAIR COLOR POLICY OF JOSE RIZAL UNIVERSITYHair coloring or hair dyeing is the practice of changing the hair color. Hair coloring can be done professionally by a hairdresser or independently at home. Today hair coloring is very popular, with over 75% of women dyeing their hair. (Robert, 2013) Living in the 21st century, Millenials are self-conscious and want to create their own unique beauty aesthetic. Students today expresses themselves in various ways and one of it is through their hair. Arguably one of the most controversial school dress code policiesin the university is the colored hair dress code policy. The Hair colour policy states that there is a prohibition on hair colour and there is an inclined punishment for violators. This policy is one of the most talked about in the university especially among Senior High School Students who are the most affected in the implementation of the policy, for they are prohibited or banned in having hair color other than black.
