METHODS OF SOCIAL RESEARCH SYA 4300 Lab Homework #1 10 Points Due: Friday, September 16 (midnight) General requirements for Lab assignment submissions: 1. Place your name, UFID, section number, and the lab number at the top of the page. 2. Append the Session Journal (discussed below) to the write-up. 3. Write-up must be word processed and saved as a Word .doc, .rtf or .pdf file. a. Use 12-point font and single spacing. b. Copy and paste the Session Journal at the end of your write-up. Assignments without a Session Journal will receive a failing grade ; ones with Session Journals that do not completely record activity will receive a lower grade . 4. Exercise must be submitted via course website on Sakai. 5. I encourage you to discuss the assignment with other students in your lab section or other lab sections of this course. However, to be fair to your classmates and your pursuit of intellectual development the work you present in the written assignments must be done independently. You may not copy the steps in another student’s Session Journal. Evidence of duplicated work will lead to 0 points for the assignment and further possible action.
