may never have heard that stress can lead to accidents or confusion, or that some degree of stress is necessary in everyone's life. Were you surprised to learn that too little stimulation may be even more stressful than too much, or that a situation often becomes more stressful because of how you perceive it than because of the situation itself, or that a certain personality may be associated with heart disease? There are many books written about stress that can provide you with the information you need. I have even authored one of these: Comprehensive Stress Management. There are classes in community centers, and college courses, and workshops at places of work that teach about stress and stress management. You may want to consider one or more of these experiences to expand your knowledge about a very important aspect of your life. ACTIVITY: READING ABOUT STRESS One way to learn more about stress and stress management is to read a book about these topics. Below is a short list of books on these subjects:
