INTERPRETATION OF SCORESThis scale measures how optimistic you are about your future life satisfaction for two time periods:one year from now and 10 years from now. High scores for the separate time periods or theircombination indicate highly optimistic expectations for life satisfaction, giving more weight to thosefactors considered by you to be most important. If your scores are below 2.0, that indicates you arenot optimistic that your future will be sufficiently satisfying for you.Stress management teaches you to be more in control of yourself and your life than youthought you could. That control may relate to being in charge of your thoughts and feelings such asanxiety and depression, your physiology such as the degree of muscle tension or how fast your heartbeats, or the closeness and meaningfulness of your personal relationships.
