Drawing Conclusions • 3 conditions – 1. independent variable must precede dependent – 2. two variables are correlated (from 0-9—positive to negative) • Correlation shows the mathematical relationship of change in one and the other • Spurious correlation—accidental or coincidental – 3. No other variables influenced results
