Detail your findings in relation to skills and capabilities required for the assurance of future success and any other aspects that will need to be considered as part of the workforce planning process. Incorporate such findings within a report for any stakeholders deemed relevant. SELC Education AgentsIn regard to skills and capability, SELC must take all reasonable measures to use education agentsthat have an appropriate knowledge and understanding of the Australian International EducationIndustry, and do not use agents who are dishonest and lack integrity. Also, teachers should havemastery of the subject they are going to teach, whether for English courses or vet courses.There are full time and par time positions available in the company, depending on the frequencyand the course that the teacher teaches. The promotion and maintenance of work health and safety (WHS) is primarily the responsibilityof management, which must be committed to accountable and transparent decision-makingprocesses with regard to WHS matters. Also, it is management’s responsibility to develop,implement and keep under review, in consultation with its employees, the Organisation’s WHSManagement System. Some examples of WHS procedures are: clear area for object to be placed;ensure ground is clear; ensure items are placed securely and in designated area, if appropriate;etc. Where possible, the Education Agent shall be a member of the Migration Agents of Australia andshall comply with the Code of Ethics produced by the Association. The Managing Director/CEO isresponsible for ensuring that all education agents appointed by SELC are contracted and work
P a g e | 3within an ethical and acceptable framework. Where possible, this should be the Code of Ethicsprovided by the Migration Industry Association of Australia.
