Unformatted text preview: I got from the article was that Winston Churchill was not focusing primarily on the nuclear race in this article. He seems to be more focused on the cooperation of the United Nations in using its influence as a group super power in order to maintain and suppress the Soviet Union from exerting its influence beyond the Iron Curtain. This is evident through his call to action not in the form of nuclear build up, or even nuclear deactivation, but through his call for unity. To me this was the most crucial point in the article and the entire introduction of the article put the Soviet Union in a friendly perspective before he begins talking about to control them....
