New Hampshire Media Strategy for Rudy Giuliani Re: New Hampshire Straw Poll – Assessment The Mayor’s recent Straw Poll showing in New Hampshire listed him as 14 th out of the 21 candidates. Our result was twice what our fellow New Yorker, “The Donald”, pulled in (2.17% to his 1.09%). To put this in perspective, consider that this is our first showing as the process begins and how the Straw Poll was conducted. Out of the total number of regular members of the New Hampshire Republican Party Committee ( 426 ), only 276 votes were counted. Considering our popularity in the New England area after 9/11 (insert data) and our recent run for (list what offices he ran for), we find ourselves in a comfortable range at this point in the primary race. Sarah Palin’s 4 th position should be taken into context as she has yet to visit the state. What are her Tea Party supporters doing in her absence to inflate her standing in this poll? Let’s look at Palin’s 6.88% to Romney’s 35.14%, for example.
