Ammons 1 Krista Rochelle Ammons English 101 September 2, 2003 Educational Attitude Everyone has their own opinion of what they need to learn and how they should learn it (if they feel they need to learn it at all). Rodriguez and Rose both have their own perspectives as of what they feel have happened to them in the class room to make them feel the way they do about education and their home lives. Rose was placed in the wrong level of class. When this mix up occurred no one was aware of it not even himself. One can tell Rose was not confident in himself because he did not know he was in the wrong placement. Rodriguez on the other hand was a very confident student and loved to learn. Rodriguez would have never been placed in the wrong class because he was confident enough in himself to know that he was above the “normal average” and would be able to show the teachers and beyond, that he belonged in a different placement. Having a thirst for knowledge gave Rodriguez an escape from what he was feeling at home and vise versa. Having
