What does the trend in these ratios suggest about Qantas’ performance in these areas? Government: Qantas plays a major role in the supervision of air transport. Therefore, sustainability ratios of interest could be number of tourist and people on business trip, revenue and economic output (economic contribution) and health and safety issues. The ratios suggest that the national export revenue and economic output decreased compared to 2008, probably due to GFC.
